Erica (Heather)Erica is more commonly known as Heather and is offered in two species including Erica melanthra (lavender) and Erica persoluta (hot pink). Both varieties are used in fresh and dried arrangments. The long vase life and attractive presentation of the Ericas explain their long-standing popularity. Erica persoluta blooms with masses of bell-shaped, deep pink flowers occurring along the stem length. Hot Pink Heather is available winter through spring. Erica melanthra blooms with masses of tubular-shaped, lavender flowers backed by deep, rich green leaves. Lavender Heather is available fall through winter. Erica melanthra is pictured in the above photograph. Click here to see our flowers in this categoryObra Verde Growers10916 Mystery
