Chamelaucium (Waxflower)This genus is the signature flower for Obra Verde Growers with over thirty cultivars currently being offered in fresh cut flower and plant form. The waxflower is one of the top twenty filler flowers being used internationally today. Colors range from pure white, through various pinks and mauves, to deep lavenders and purple. General characteristics of this highly popular genus includes an extended vase life, heavy clusters of playful, waxy blooms and fragrant leaves. Because of the numerous cultivars in production, Obra Verde Growers is able to offer California grown varieties almost year round. Australian imports assure availability throughout the remainder of the year. Varieties in current production include: Mystic Pearl, Chinchilla, Early Pink, Strawberry, Purple Pride, Stirling Range, Burgundy Blush, Lavender, Walpole, Lady Stephanie Pink and White, Snowflake, Early Bird, Lady Jane, Mullering Brook, Theresa, generic cross Eric John and so much more!
